My name is Cindy Garey, and I joined the team in November, becoming newly licensed here in Ohio in Property and Casualty insurance in December. I was born and raised in Oxford, Maine, where I began my insurance career working for insurance companies before becoming a licensed agent at an agency. After a few years, I stepped away from insurance to be a stay-at-home mom when my son was born with many health issues. Over the years, I worked in restaurant management, which accommodated my son's hectic medical schedule.I've lived the past 15 years in Florida, but decided I was ready to move near family and embrace a less hectic life. This is how I ended up in Greenville, Oh. I truly love the quiet little town and the peace it provides me. With my son graduating in 2024, I decided it was time to refocus on my career. Hi, my name's Kim! I've been a licensed Property & Casualty agent since 2000. My insurance career started as a part-time temporary employee for a commercial insurance company. After my six-month temp contract, I was hired full-time and went on to become an underwriter for many years. Since then, I've worked in a few different independent agents' retail offices. Prior to coming to Jim’s office in December 2014, I worked with another State Farm Agent in Indiana for two and a half years.
